Hello. My name’s Thiago and I am an addict.

It all started when I was a child, about six or seven years old.

Innocently, I approached it. It seemed interesting, harmless, maybe even fun.

My parents didn’t realize the risk at the time. They didn’t see, or turned a blind eye to, my increasing longing for it.

Soon the time came when I realized it had gotten to me. There was no turning back. It had changed my brain and now I was completely dependent on it.

It altered my life completely.

Nowadays I try to live with it. I try to limit the amount I get.

I promise myself: just one more line and that’s it.

But one line turns to two, then to three and so on, and then I realize a whole chapter went by, and I’m still going.
